The vision of the Bright Water Landscape Partnership is to reveal a heritage of change and innovation, supporting opportunities.
We want to enhance and enjoy the natural, built and farmed landscape, realising gifts for now and the future, raising aspirations and inspiring communities.
To achieve this vision we rely on the support, expertise and knowledge of local volunteers, organisations and contractors.

The Discover Brightwater Natural Heritage Small Grants programme aims to support local organisations and projects that help people to enjoy all the Brightwater area has to offer.
We hope with the support from County Durham Community Foundation and Durham Wildlife Trust together we can achieve lasting improvements and impact in our local environment and community.
