Following careful consideration of the current course of the COVID-19 pandemic, together with DigVentures, we have decided to postpone our upcoming dig at Sedgefield, which was scheduled to begin on Mon 20 April 2020.
For now, we are going to cancel the dig, and you should receive a full refund of your tickets from Eventbrite within the next 14 days.
But all’s not lost! All being well, we plan to re-schedule the dig for Autumn 2020. We will, of course, let you know as soon as new dates are confirmed and you will have priority for booking places on the new dig when the time comes.
And, in the meantime, DigVentures will also be announcing some fun new ways to do some archaeology online. To us, our community is everything and we want to make sure we’ve all got some archaeology to join in with over the coming months!
