The Discover Brightwater Elves are hard at work preparing for this year’s festivities around the River Skerne. Our team are on a Christmas mission to support our local shops and promote our cracking selection of Brightwater Businesses.
We all know that Christmas is going to be different this year but It’s time to celebrate and show our local shops some love! They really are the heartbeat of our neighbourhood, the backbone of our local economy and the spirit of our communities!
To celebrate Small Business Saturday we’re giving away hundreds of pounds to some of our local businesses. We’ll be putting £50 ‘behind the till’ of 10 x Brightwater Businesses. To be in with the chance of winning £50 store credit all you have to do is tag your favourite locally* based brand or business on one of our social pages and tell us why you have nominated them.
The more businesses you nominate – the greater chance you have of winning!
(Just look for the pinned post at the top of our pages)
Throughout December the elves will also be sharing winter inspiration from local gift guides, walks, recipes, craft activities and more!
Are you ready to shop totally locally and support our local businesses?
Looking for some inspo? The check out our Brightwater Gift Guide , it’s bursting with homemade gifts, local produce, kids toys and more!
Even if you can’t visit our shops (through lock-downs or distance) many of our local businesses are now operating online.
