THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED AN INTEREST – GOOD LUCK!

Discover Brightwater is currently funded to deliver a minimum of approximately 43 ha of restored or created wetland habitat and habitat improvements to 9.5 km of the River Skerne. We are also charged with establishing the Great North Fen as a legacy project. The Great North Fen will be a patchwork of approximately 400 ha of connected restored in-river, ponds, fens and carrs habitats surrounding the River Skerne. With support from Partnership members, environmental leaders within the North East region and with a range of potential funding streams being developed the Great North Fen concept is gaining considerable momentum. This tender seeks a key delivery partner with the necessary skills, vision and experience to help us to design and deliver the Great North Fen with considerable scope for further work for the successful bidder as the project enfolds.
