What to expect from the walk:

Along surfaced paths and a short section of unsurfaced track. Barriers include two bridges over the railway, a narrow gap to walk through and some inclines.

Kilburn Shed

Timothy Hackworth House

Timothy Hackworth House.This house was built 1830-1831 for Timothy Hackworth, the locomotive superintendent of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. in 1975 it became the Timothy Hackworth Muse. Image © Ashley Dace.

The Light Engine
