Due to the current circumstances, many events will be offered online or as a virtual experience, so we can Discover Brightwater and beyond from the safety and comfort of our home.
Put your feet up with a cuppa and join us as we uncover 2000 years of history from the Roman sandal wearers of Sedgefield through the swan-eating Prince Bishops at Middleham and trace our unique heritage which includes the legendary Durham Ox, and the world’s oldest passenger railway company
