Hardwick Park, Sedgefield, Stockton-on-Tees TS21 2DN
Hardwick Park – The award-winning Green Flag park lies in the heart of Brightwater and is a key access point into our magnificent landscape. We’re actually in the middle of creating a new nature reserve just north of Hardwick Park; Bishop’s Fen will be created on approximately 25 hectares of land which can be accessed through the park.
Hardwick Park is an 18th century Grade II listed site with so many historical features waiting to be discovered!Â
It’s the perfect place to spend the day with the family. Take a stroll through the breathtaking landscape whilst admiring the beautiful woodland and wildlife.Â
There’s no admission fee and the car park and cafe are very reasonably priced (the homemade soup is delicious!) so a day here won’t break the bank either.
We’re also creating a wooden sculpture trail; each of the carved sculptures will represent the wildlife found in our local area. The trail will lead visitors to discover all of the beautiful sites throughout Hardwick Park and take them to our new nature reserve – Bishops Fen
