Foraging Wild Walk
Come along and join us for a walk with a difference, we’ll be exploring the beautiful Hardwick Park.
Have you ever wanted to try foraging, or find out more about it? Then this introduction walk is the perfect place to start!
The award-winning Green Flag park lies in the heart of Brightwater and is a key access point into our magnificent landscape, the beautiful woodland area is rich with a variety of species to explore.
This FREE foraging wild walk is suitable for all ages and abilities (including children), taking in the many varieties of plants and fungi that are edible! You’ll see your surroundings in a completely different light!
This will be hosted by Laura Ince-Henry, Community Project Manager at Groundwork NE & Cumbria
The meeting point and finishing point will be the visitor centre/cafe on site.
Please wear sturdy footwear, there are some uneven paths, children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
