About this Event
What has DigVentures discovered this month? Step inside our Finds Room for a close-up look at some of the most curious and unique objects and artefacts from our latest archaeological dig.
For the last six weeks, we’ve been excavating the ruins of a medieval palace at Bishop Middleham in County Durham. And now, we’re ready to reveal our favourite discoveries.
This will be the first time that we unbox these artefacts in public, and you can be sure that there’ll be surprises, mysteries, and all sorts of medieval artefacts for you to marvel at.
So, join us as we host a very special evening filled with medieval artefacts and archaeological trivia, along with our friendly community from around the world. You will get to:
- Meet our archaeologists
- Find out what we do with our discoveries
- Learn about the medieval palace we’ve been digging
- See us unboxing our favourite artefacts in the Finds Room
- Help us identify mystery objects
- Discover the surprising stories behind these artefacts
- Ask questions!
